HSC ATAR Calculator 2011: Estimate your ATAR using HSC Marks, Scaled Marks or Percentile!


How to estimate your ATAR using HSC Marks

  1. Select the 'HSC Marks to ATAR' tab. This is the blue tab.
  2. Enter your subjects. One 2-unit English subject (Advanced, Standard, or ESL) must be entered first.
  3. Enter your HSC Mark (/100) or Percentile (/100) or Scaled Mark (/50) for each subject.
  4. Click the 'GO' button to calculate your ATAR.
How to estimate HSC Marks from your ATAR goal

  1. Select the ATAR to HSC Marks tab. This is the orange tab.
  2. Enter your subjects. One 2-unit English subject (Advanced, Standard, or ESL) must be entered first.
  3. Enter your ATAR goal.
  4. Click the 'GO' button. The HSC Mark, Percentile and Scaled Mark fields will be populated.
  5. To understand how changing one of the fields (HSC Mark, Percentile, Scaled Marks) affects your ATAR, select HSC Marks to ATAR tab and then enter a new value in any of the fields.
  6. Click the 'GO' button to see your new ATAR.
