Q: What is your career aspiration?
A: I aspire to become a successful accountant and/or financial banker.
Q: Describe the difference between high school and university.
A: Unlike high school, university compels you to take on much more responsibility for yourself since there are no teachers to look out for you in the same manner that there was in high school.
Q: What do you love most about your course? What do you dislike?
A: I love that my course is practical and useful in understanding the business world that is so prevalent in today’s society. However, like every other course, there are difficult aspects of the course such as some
of the course contents, it is also often competitive and exam periods can be stressful.
Q: Do you have a job? Why did you choose to work and study at the same time?
A: Working at Matrix equips me with the skills, experience and business etiquette that I will need once I
complete my course and enter into the workforce.
Q: Have you failed any subjects at uni or do you anyone who has? What do you think were some
factors which led you to fail?
A: I haven’t yet failed a course at uni, however it can be very easy to do so if you do not maintain
consistent results and get into good study habits.
Q: What study habits are important for uni, and for the exam period?
A: It is important to consistently put in the work throughout the semester as opposed to cramming at the last second – that never results in the best possible outcome. If you are consistent throughout the
semester exam period can be a much more stress-free time.
Q: Did you do a lot of research before you enrolled into your course? How can you actively research what your course is going to be like?
A: Most of the information about courses at universities can be found on their websites using the course
search function. The web pages include information such as how many years the course will be, what
subjects and majors are available and the requirements of entry into the course. Asking friends, family or anyone else doing a course at uni can be helpful to help you get a better insight into what is required of
the course.
Q: Do you have a personal secret to success?
A: Be consistent. Find inspiration from people around you.
Q: What is a great habit to have during studying at university?
A: Have a healthy lifestyle. Exercise regularly as it has positive effect
