It is difficult to prepare for the creative writing component of the HSC because it does not rely on memorisation or rote learning. In these two class modules, students will learn about the criteria which examiners look for when examining a creative piece, the elements which constitute good writing, how they can prepare for the creative writing component, and strategies for responding to the creative stimulus within the exam.
