The many people in attendance showed great appreciation of the speeches, including those delivered by the Mayor and also by two ex Matrix students Bardia Aryaie and Linda Tang.
Bardia who is an ex Willoughby High School student, and currently studying Medical Science at University of Sydney, said in his speech that he owed much of his academic success to the learning he received while attending Matrix Education for tuition. He placed great credit in the staff and syllabus at Matrix for providing him with extra help and support throughout his senior years.
Linda, who is currently studying Medicine, paid great credit to her Matrix teaching staff, support teams and syllabus in helping her to achieve her life-long dream of gaining entry to her degree course at the University of Sydney.
While the Mayor extolled the many factors impacting on today’s secondary students, including the current social pressures they faced, he was highly commendable of the role Matrix played in supporting students through their learning journey - focusing on both academic and life goals and aspirations. The Mayor also credited Matrix for assisting students to achieve results above expectations, helping them to gain entry into their chosen University course and career path.
