We know exactly what it takes to succeed in the HSC.

Matrix teachers train students to understand key concepts behind the theory, as opposed to memorising information. Matrix Theory Booklets help students to arrive at an in-depth understanding of the syllabus material.

Matrix teachers have HSC exam marking experience and/or extensive experience in writing assessments and exams, and thus they know exactly how to maximise marks in school and HSC exams. Our students are taught the most effective exam techniques. Matrix Work Booklets consist of various exam-style questions to help students practice these skills.

Through repetition and close monitoring, Matrix teachers ensure every student understands and masters all facets of the course content.

Alisha has been lecturing in chemistry and biology since 2002 and tutoring for the past 8 years.

Why I love teaching at Matrix:
I love being able to make students laugh while learning. Biology and Chemistry are both important and fun subjects to learn and teach and provide an excellent background for so many different career paths.

Experience:
Chloe has 8 years of teaching experience in Biology and Chemistry. More recently, she has become involved in School of Biology Science activities at Sydney University which include first year Biology demonstrating and marking, gifted and talented and KickStart laboratories, Biology bridging courses and International Science Schools.

Why I love teaching at Matrix:
It gives her the opportunity to interact with students who are motivated academically and set high goals for themselves. Tracking the progress of students, seeing them improve over time and achieve their goals is a great reward. Apart from that, students at Matrix are generous and have a great sense of humour - it's a pleasure to teach such well-balanced individuals!
