1. Enrollment Fee
At the time of enrollment, a one off enrollment fee of $55 (GST inclusive) applies.
2. Attendance
Students are expected to attend all the sessions in which they are enrolled. If any student fails to attend one or more lessons during their scheduled study period, we will not offer credits or refunds for the missed classes.
If any student is unable to attend any scheduled class, we ask that parents contact us prior to the lesson to support our duty of care.
3. Homework Policy
Students are requested to submit their homework by the due date in order to consolidate the students' understanding of concepts taught in class. Partially completed homework is deemed 'incomplete' and will be returned to students for completion and re-submission. If a student is experiencing difficulties completing his/her homework, he/she will be invited to attend Workshop to resolve any learning shortfalls.
If a student fails to submit their homework 2 weeks in a row, both the student and the parent/guardian will be notified by SMS. Ongoing non-completion of homework will result in direct contact with the parent/guardian by Matrix academic staff.
When homework is submitted by the due date, it will be marked with appropriate feedback and returned weekly.
Students may be invited to attend a Workshop when they require additional assistance.
4. Workshop Policy
Workshops are designed to support students learning in Theory Classes and to further assist them with school and Matrix homework, or any other learning difficulties. Matrix proactively identifies, and invites students to attend a Workshop session through the assessment of homework and exam tasks. A Workshop attendance request via SMS will be sent to both the student and the parent requesting that the student book a Workshop session.
At the end of the Workshop session, Workshop attendance or absence SMS notifications will be sent to both the student and parent/guardian. Ongoing non-attendance at Workshops will result in direct contact with the parent/guardian by Matrix staff.
5. Behaviour
Students are expected to be on their best behavior at all times, and must be dressed neatly whilst on Matrix premises.
We do not allow hats to be worn in class.
Any students, who conduct themselves in an anti-social manner towards other students or staff, may be asked to leave immediately. We reserve the right to cancel a student’s enrollment if the inappropriate behavior persists. This guarantees the safety of other students whilst on our premises.
6. Refund Policy
There are NO credits or refunds available at Matrix Education for either missed classes or cancellation of course lessons.
7. Commitment
All fees and charges are payable in advance of the commencement of each course. If full payment is not made by the due date, enrollment may be cancelled.
8. Personal Information
